Q1: Is it true that I can order a custom mold with only 3,000 bottles?
A: Yes. We offer private mold customization starting at 3,000 pieces for Super-Flint Glass Bottles to help craft distilleries launch limited editions or test new markets without heavy inventory pressure.

 

Q2: How much does a custom mold cost, and is it refundable?
A: Mold costs vary based on bottle size and complexity. Generally, a sample mold is around $800, and a full production mold is around $1,800. Yes, the mold cost is 100% refundable once your cumulative orders reach a certain quantity (typically 500,000 units).

 

Q3: Who owns the intellectual property (IP) of the mold?
A: You do. Once you pay for the mold, it is your exclusive property. We will sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and guarantee that we will never sell your bottle design to any other customer.

 

Q4: I only have a sketch on a napkin. Can you help me design the bottle?
A: Absolutely. Our in-house engineering team can turn your sketch or mood board into a professional 3D rendering and technical drawing within 48 hours-completely free of charge as part of our project evaluation.

 

Q5: Can you produce "Heavy Bottom" (Glass Slug) bottles for my premium spirit?
A: Yes, we specialize in Super Flint glass with heavy bottoms (15mm-25mm thick base). This adds weight and prestige to the bottle, which is essential for premium Whiskey, Vodka, and Gin brands.

 

Section 2: Quality & Closures 

 

Q6: What is the difference between Flint and Super Flint glass?
A: Flint glass is standard clear glass suitable for general spirits. Super Flint glass (also known as Crystal White) is made from higher purity raw materials, resulting in exceptional clarity and brightness, free from green or blue tints. We recommend Super Flint for all premium spirits.

 

Q7: How do you ensure the cork/cap fits the bottle without leaking?
A: This is our priority. We perform strict Bore (Neck) Control during glass production. We then test your chosen closure (cork or guala cap) against the bottle using vacuum leakage testers in our lab. We supply the bottles and caps as a matched set to guarantee a secure seal.

 

Q8: Are your bottles food-safe and lead-free?
A: Yes. All our glass bottles and closures are certified Lead-Free and compliant with FDA (USA), and LFGB (Europe) standards. We can provide test reports upon request.

 

Q9: Can these bottles run on my high-speed automatic filling line?
A: Yes. Our production follows strict ISO tolerance standards. If you provide your filling machine specifications (e.g., max height, diameter tolerance), we will ensure the bottles are compatible to prevent jamming or breakage.

 

Q10: What types of closures can you supply?
A: We offer a full range: Synthetic/Natural Wood T-Top Corks, Glass Stoppers (Vinolok style), Heavy Zamac (Alloy) Caps, Aluminum ROPP Caps, and Tamper-Evident Screw Caps.

 

Section 3: Decoration & Packaging 

 

Q11: I don't want paper labels. Can you print directly on the glass?
A: Yes. We offer Screen Printing (Ceramic heat transfer), Decal Firing (for complex multi-color designs), and Precious Metal Stamping (Real Gold/Silver). These are fired at high temperatures for permanent adhesion.

 

Q12: Can you provide the retail boxes for my bottles?
A: Yes. We manufacture custom Rigid Gift Boxes, Round Paper Tubes, and Folding Cartons. We can also supply Custom Inserts (EVA/Foam) that fit your bottle shape perfectly.

 

Q13: Can you pack the bottles in 6-pack or 12-pack printed cartons?
A: Yes. We can pack bottles directly into your branded retail cartons with dividers. This saves you labor costs as you can put them straight onto the filling line and then seal them for shipment.

 

Q14: Do you offer "Frosting" or "Painting" services?
A: Yes. We can do full or partial Acid Etching (Frosting) for a matte finish, or Spray Painting in any Pantone color (including gradients and soft-touch finishes).

 

Section 4: Logistics & Orders 

 

Q15: I have never imported from China. Can you handle the shipping?
A: Yes. We offer a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) Service. We handle ocean freight, customs clearance, duties, and taxes. The truck will deliver the pallets directly to your distillery or warehouse door. You don't need to lift a finger.

 

Q16: What is the standard lead time?

Q17: How are the bottles packed to prevent breakage?
A: We use standard export wooden pallets with multi-layer dividers and heavy-duty shrink wrap. For carton packing, we use 5-ply corrugated boxes with reinforced partitions.

 

Q18: What if some bottles arrive broken?
A: While our breakage rate is typically below 1%, accidents can happen during transit. We have a "Breakage Compensation Policy." We will either replace the broken bottles in the next shipment or refund the value of the damaged goods.

 

Q19: Can I get samples before placing a bulk order?
A: Yes. For existing molds, we offer Free Samples (you only cover shipping). For custom molds, we produce physical samples for your approval before starting mass production.

 

Q20: What are your payment terms?
A: Our standard term is 30% deposit to start production and 70% balance before shipment (or against Bill of Lading copy). We also accept L/C for larger orders.
