Crafted from high-grade borosilicate glass, these jars are remarkably resistant to thermal shock. They can withstand rapid temperature changes from -20°C to 150°C, making them dishwasher safe, refrigeration, and microwave safe. 

 

The cap can be wood or bamboo with a silicone gasket. The silicone gasket creates a hermetic seal, keeping contents like spices, coffee beans, sugar, flour, and tea fresh for longer.

Section 1: Safety & Certifications

Q1: Are your glass jars and bottles certified for food contact?
A: Absolutely. All our food-grade glass containers are manufactured using lead-free Soda-Lime or High Borosilicate glass. They are fully compliant with FDA (USA) and LFGB (Europe) standards. We can provide valid test reports for both the glass and the lids upon request.

Q2: Do your metal lids contain BPA (Bisphenol A)?
A: We offer specific BPA-NI (Non-Intent) closure options. Standard lug caps may contain BPA in the coating, but for organic, baby food, or acidic products, we supply certified BPA-Free lids and liners to meet strict market regulations.

Q3: Are the glass jars dishwasher and microwave-safe?
A: The glass containers themselves are 100% dishwasher and microwave-safe. However, we recommend removing metal lids before microwaving. For High Borosilicate storage jars, they are also oven-safe.

Q4: How do you ensure hygiene during shipping?
A: Unlike industrial glass, food glass requires higher hygiene standards. We use heat-shrink pallet wrapping and top dust covers to seal the pallets completely, preventing dust, insects, or moisture from entering the jars during ocean transit.

Q5: Can your jars withstand Hot-Filling and Pasteurization?
A: Yes. Our standard soda-lime canning jars are annealed to withstand Thermal Shock. They are perfectly suitable for hot-filling (jams, tomato sauce) and water-bath pasteurization processes. Note: Please avoid pouring boiling liquid directly into a frozen jar.

Q6: I produce frozen food/sauces. Can your jars be frozen?
A: Yes, but you must choose a jar with straight sides (no shoulders) and leave adequate "headspace" (approx. 10-15%) for expansion. Tapered jars may crack when the content expands during freezing.

Q7: Are your spice grinders refillable or disposable?
A: We offer both. We have disposable tamper-evident grinders for retail spice brands, and refillable ceramic/glass mechanism grinders for premium kitchenware sets.

Q8: Do you have packaging suitable for acidic products like vinegar or pickles?
A: Yes. Glass is chemically inert and perfect for acidic foods. For the lids, we use special acid-resistant interior coatings (like Pasteurization-grade Plastisol liners) to prevent corrosion from vinegar or brine.

Q9: What is the difference between a Lug Cap and a Screw Cap?
A: Lug Caps (Twist-off) engage with multiple threads and are designed for vacuum sealing on automated canning lines (ideal for jams/sauces). Screw Caps (Continuous Thread) screw on continuously and are better for dry storage or products not requiring a vacuum seal.

Q10: How do I know if the jar is vacuum sealed properly?
A: We supply Lug Caps with a "Safety Button" (Pop-up button). After hot-filling and cooling, the vacuum pulls the button down. If the seal is broken, the button pops up with a clicking sound, providing tamper evidence to the consumer.

Q11: Do you offer airtight lids for dry food storage (Coffee/Pasta)?
A: Yes. For our pantry storage line, we provide Bamboo, Acacia wood, or Stainless Steel lids equipped with a food-grade Silicone Ring. This creates an airtight seal to keep moisture out and freshness in.

Q12: Can you provide "Oil Pourer" inserts for olive oil bottles?
A: Yes. We supply plastic or metal pourers with flow-control vents and flip-tops, ensuring a clean, drip-free pouring experience for oils and vinegars.

Q13: What is the difference between Soda-Lime and Borosilicate glass?
A: Soda-Lime glass is the standard, cost-effective material used for canning jars and beverage bottles (like Mason jars). High Borosilicate glass is lighter, thinner, and has superior thermal resistance (used for labware), making it ideal for premium kitchen storage containers and teapots.

Q14: Do you sell "Mason Jars" with the two-piece lid system?
A: Yes. We supply standard mouth and wide-mouth Mason jars compatible with the traditional two-piece lid system (flat disc + ring), popular in the home canning market.

Q15: Can I get square or hexagonal jars instead of round ones?
A: Yes. We have a wide variety of stock molds for Hexagonal (6-sided) and Square jars, which are excellent for maximizing shelf space and premium branding for honey and luxury spreads.

Q16: Are your glass storage jars stackable?
A: Many of our kitchen canister designs feature recessed lids or flat tops specifically engineered for stable stacking, helping consumers organize their pantries efficiently.

Q17: What is the MOQ for food jars?
A: For items in Stock, the MOQ is 1 Pallet (approx. 1,000–2,000 pcs). For Mass Production runs of standard molds, the MOQ is typically 10,000–20,000 pcs depending on the size.

Q18: Can you apply labels for us?
A: Yes. We offer Pressure-Sensitive Labeling services. Since many food brands have multiple SKUs (e.g., Strawberry, Blueberry, Peach jam), labeling is often more cost-effective than direct printing.

Q19: Do you sell jars and lids separately or together?
A: We recommend buying them together to guarantee the fit (Neck Finish vs. Cap Size). However, if you already have a lid supplier, we can supply the glass jars independently, provided you confirm the thread specifications.

Q20: Can I mix different sizes in one container?
A: Yes. For stock items, we fully support Mixed Container Loading. You can combine Honey Jars, Sauce Bottles, and Storage Canisters in a single 40HQ container to optimize your inventory and shipping costs.
